Hot Water Grate Boiler
Svoboda, Marek ; Šilhavý, Karel (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with design of hot water grate boiler, where the output is water with parameters 130 °C and pressure 16 bar. In the content of the whole thesis is gradually introduced a stoichiometric calculations, which is based on the specified fuel – wood chips. This is followed by the design of the individual heating surfaces according to the thermal calculations given in the thesis. Finally, the calculation is extended by hydraulic and aerodynamic losses. Dimensional design, as a basic scheme, is shown at thesis. More detailed drawing documentation is attached to this thesis.
Hot-air boiler for wood mass burning, air 2Nm3/s, 500°C
Ralbovský, Peter ; Kól, Přemysl (referee) ; Skála, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis describes the design of hot air boilers for burning wood chips for the production of process air at 500 ° C and a given flow rate 2 Nm3 / s. The work deals with general combustion and fuel economy of biomass boilers.
Application of rapidly renewable raw materials in cement-bonded boards
Čeřovský, Matěj ; Vacula, Miroslav (referee) ; Bydžovský, Jiří (advisor)
Nowadays come most raw materials for the construction of non-renewable resources. This implies the need to use a larger proportion of renewable materials, to maintain current production. This work deals with the use of rapidly renewable materials in board materials with cement binder, comparing the characteristics of different kinds of wood materials, cannabis and less common ingredients.
Biomass Boilers
Nahodil, Jiří ; Moskalík, Jiří (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis deals with the use of biomass for heating houses and apartment houses. The first part is dedicated to biomass. Here are mentioned the possibility of energy recovery, treatment and transformation of biomass into a form suitable for burning, its properties and combustion process itself. The second part is devoted to biomass boilers, their separation and description. The last section compares the specific biomass boiler with a boiler to natural gas, particularly from an economic perspective on the acquisition and subsequent operation.
Grate Biomass Boiler
Vrána, Jakub ; Křemínský, Pavel (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
This master thesis deals with design of grate biomass boiler with 50 t/h power. A fuel of the boiler is a mixture of contaminated biomass and woodchips. The boiler produces steam with parameters of 4,2 MPa and 420 °C. Stochiometric and thermal calculations are based on given fuel composition and output steam parameters. Heat exchangers are designated in accordance with the calculations. General drawing of the boiler is attached to this document. Anti-corrosion measures are considered, due to chlorine content in biomass. Hydraulic and aerodynamic losses and dew point of the flue gas is calculated in the end.
Grate Boiler for Biomass Combustion
Szabó, Gergely ; Svoboda, Petr (referee) ; Svoboda, Petr (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of a grate steam boiler which has natural circulation and is determined for combustion of wood chips. The boiler has a capacity of 45 t/h and produces superheated steam with the output parameters of 3,5 MPa and 450 °C at the 125 °C feed water temperature. Stoichiometric calculations and the flue gases enthalpy calculations are based on the composition of the specified fuel. The efficiency and fuel consumption of the boiler is also determined. The thesis mainly focuses on the thermal calculation and geometric design of the individual heat transfer surfaces of the boiler. The drawing documentation of the steam boiler is available in the attachment of the thesis.
Draft of thermal-oil boiler fired with wood chips
Vojtek, Marek ; Frömel, Zdeněk (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
This master´s thesis is dealing with thermal-oil boiler fired with wood chips. In the first part is the conception of the boiler, created on the base of the search of thermal-oil boilers producers and defined fuel. In the next section is the heat-transfer, aerodynamic and hydraulic calculation. In the last part is the design of the boiler technologies. In the appendix is the projection drawing which includes all important information for the construction draft.
Biomass boiler in gas heating plant
Červeňak, Dušan ; Skála, Vladimír (referee) ; Skála, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis describes the design of boilers for wood chips in a gas boiler house. Consisting of boiler house design from concept design suitable heat source to design components necessary for the proper functionality of the boiler house. Part of thesis is compilation of a functional diagram and design of possible solutions.
Energy use of biomass
Ošťádal, Michal ; Elbl, Patrik (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to search for technologies for biomass conversion with subsequent energy utilization. At the beginning of the work is analyzed the nature of biomass as an energy source. The next part deals with individual technologies. The following section deals with combustion and biogas chains. The penultimate chapter deals with chosen energy sources. The last chapter is statistical processing of emissions, mining, electricity and heat production from renewable sources and biomass.
Alkali Activated Fly Ash Composites with Wooden Filler
Brýdl, David ; Bayer,, Patrik (referee) ; Rovnaník, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis examines the possibility of creating composite mainly from waste materials. The matrix of this composite was prepared from fly ash type F, which was activated by sodium water glass. Wood chips were used as a filler. This thesis includes theoretical and experimental parts. The theoretical part deals with the most important issues of wood composites with an inorganic matrix as well as basic components of investigated composite, ie alkaline activated fly ash and wood. In the experimental part, the fly ash pastes were prepared, from which the most suitable mixture was chosen for the composite preparation. Properties of wood composite with alkali activated fly ash matrix were investigated depending on the dose of wood chips.
